Beat Box Ep 02 : ‘Kaav’
Kaav is an Indian trio instrumental band formed in 2009 put together by Syam N Pai, Shabeer P Ali and Arun S Kumar.
The band is based in Vypin Island, Cochin, Kerala, India. Even though the remote nature of the place brings about several limitations, the natural beauty and the coastal lifestyle have an immense influence on the nature of the bands music.
Kaavs music draws influences from Indian classical music, folk music, Rock, Metal, World music, Jazz Fusions, Prog, Psy and Alternative.
Kaavs first EP of three songs released in September 2010. Baiiju Dharmarajan of ‘Motherjane’ has produced the EP.
‘Daya’ is the first ever single video by Kaav, shot by Arun S Kumar and Syam N Pai and Edited by Syam N Pai.
